Crows are intelligent birds. It is said that they will remember faces of different people and how each person has treated them in the past. On the farm here in Molesworth, in the vineyard, they wreak havoc on the grapes. so we have to resort to netting the vines I’ve spent many hours freeing unfortunate corvids from the nets and hope they know I mean them no harm and remember me kindly. Never the less they always regard me with suspicion whenever I come near.
Their black plumage and sinister ways keeps them low in most peoples estimations however I love these darkly feathered trouble makers. Maybe one day they may begin to trust me.
